Verulam Angling and its affiliates (Carp Craze) provide their services to you subject to the following conditions. If you visit or shop at Verulam Angling, you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future Verulam Angling service or visit or purchase from any business affiliated with Verulam Angling, whether or not included in the Carp Craze web site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or business.

Making a purchase


To purchase from our online shop you can either make use of the PayPal Shopping Basket provided on site and make a secure purchase with all the regular credit cards or your existing PayPal account.

NB: A PayPal Account is not necessary to purchase from this site!

Customer Information - Terms of Sale:

The following terms and conditions of sale constitute a binding agreement between Verulam Angling and its customers which applies to all purchases made on any of the Verulam Angling web sites. Customers are reminded that these terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully, you may wish to print a copy for future reference. You agree not to change these Terms of Sale from the form presented by us. All other terms and conditions including those in any order submitted by you are expressly excluded and shall have no effect. All communications made thus far by us are invitations to treat only.

Acceptance of Order:

Your acceptance of these Sale Terms by clicking on the “buy it now” button represents an offer of contract from You only and is not binding until accepted by Us either by sending You an email which is received by You explicitly stating this or our dispatching the goods to You with a dispatch note issued to You by us. Receipt of an order via the Verulam Angling websites by us does not constitute acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to refuse your offer for any reason.

Any errors or omissions in any catalogue, sales literature, price list, despatch note, invoice or other documentation or any information issued by us from time to time shall be subject to correction without liability on our part. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of any order submitted by you, confirming where reasonably requested to do so by us any telephone orders, and for the giving of such information as is necessary relating to the Sale Terms and delivery (as the case may be) to enable us to deliver the goods to the delivery address notified by You.

General Sales:

All purchases must be paid in full before delivery. Verulam Angling will continue to own, and reserve the right to repossess any goods sold from its web site until payment has been received and cleared in full. Payments are accepted on most credit or debit cards via our secure server. I/We authorise you to make any enquiries you deem necessary in connection with this sale. This information will be used for fraud prevention or debt recovery.

All prices quoted are for new products and are priced in pounds sterling including all taxes at current rates unless you select a different currency. Price excludes delivery to any address but is clearly shown before you checkout. Saturday deliveries are possible at additional cost, dependant on area. An invoice giving a description of the goods purchased and the price paid including VAT will be supplied.

Right of Cancellation:

The customer has an unconditional right to cancel an order. You must exercise the right to cancel an order by informing Verulam Angling in writing, Via e-mail (receipt needed) or on the phone. Within the following time limits (“Cancellation Period”).

Goods - from the date the order is accepted by Verulam Angling until fourteen days after the Goods are delivered. Customers exercising their right to cancel an order must ensure that reasonable care is taken of the goods and that they are returned to Verulam Angling in an unused and as new condition complete in its original packaging and with all instructions and accessories. The return must include any premium offers or free gifts offered with the product. Alternatively Verulam Angling can arrange the return or exchange of the goods. Verulam Angling will refund the purchase price of the goods or services within 30 days of receiving and checking the goods are as new and complete, less the cost of delivery to Verulam Angling where necessary unless we have made an error.

Returns and exchanges

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Therefore, please remember you can order with  confidence as we will exchange or refund any item you are not happy with. All we ask is that you return it to us within 7 Days and in its original packaging which should be un-opened.
